Ever heard of Mistletoe? The first time I came across this plant's name was while reading Harry Potter. During Christmas, Harry and Cho shared a kiss under the mistletoe in the Room of Requirement. 😘
Why is mistletoe used for Christmas decoration? And why kiss under it?
Turns out, mistletoe is a parasitic plant that grows on trees, staying evergreen and bearing white berries in December. The tradition of kissing under mistletoe comes from European customs, originating from Nordic mythology.
